We are delighted to be featuring five amazing gals from Celtic Curves to be guest bloggers at Dolly & Bella! We all know one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to fashion and here at Dolly Bella we want to promote positive body image and awareness for everyone and these girls, Celtic Curve, are a group of beautiful models and bloggers that focus on curvy fashion style and positive body image!
This first blog is an introduction to these wonderful girls and their background and we can expect some fab posts from them soon!
Hi Dolly & Bella followers, my name is Rhian and I’m the token Welsh Celtic Curve. I am a teacher, a drama queen and a model. I love my pageants and competitions, I am currently Miss Curves Supreme Beauty, so I am always looking for different glamorous clothes, and adore anything sparkly.
I am probably the most eclectic girl of the group. As well as sparkles, I am quite alternative and I love my 50’s look. I like to be unique as I love to express myself through fashion and makeup.
I am bubbly, loving, and love to defy stereotypes. It is probably this that got me into modelling. As a plus size girl, there are certain expectations put upon us; both in our dress sense and lifestyle. I once had a disagreement with a sales assistant who told me that as I was big, I shouldn’t want to wear short, tight or fashionable clothes. This is certainly not true and implies that big girls aren’t active. I am a trained dancer who loves being active, and is even doing her second marathon this year.
I can’t wait to introduce you more into my crazy life and style through my blogs. Hope you enjoy reading!!

I cannot wait to start bringing you some fabulous blogs every week… so let me tell you a little about myself. I have been a plus size model for 2 years and a Celtic curve for 6 months! I am the shorty of the group, but mighty things come in small (curvy) packages! I absolutely adore fashion, but my true love is shoes – give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can concur the world right?? Dogs and food are my soul mates! I hope to bring you some of my favourite looks, shoes and desserts (who doesn’t love chocolate?!?) in my blogs for you to enjoy. Love and curves for now xxx

Hi my name is Charlotte I am a 25 year old mother/property administrator/blogger and plus size model from Co. Wexford. I am very new to the blogging world, but have been modelling for over a year now and I have taken part in various competitions and fashion events.
I love all things fashion/beauty related and I am easily distracted by anything that has a skull on it. For me, I am about beauty on a budget. I Love finding cheaper alternatives to high end styles and products which have the same affect, but won’t break the bank.
I am obsessed with shoes, handbags and scarfs, they can overhaul any outfit and will extend your wardrobe possibilities to no end.I love all kinds of styles and I will try anything if I think it looks good and will make me feel fabulous.
If you feel good on the inside it shines through on the outside. I can’t wait to share my thoughts & views with you in our blog!

Hi everyone, my name is Rachel. I am 28 years young living in Co Dublin. I am fairly new to the blogging world but really enjoy writing about my life experiences.
I am extremely confident in my body and I know my own style! This is a subject which can be hard for a lot of women, especially plus size women in relation to up to date fashion. We seem to think we cannot be “on trend” as we aren’t similar to the models the shops use for advertising.
As a mother to a 5 year old beautiful girl, I constantly try to boost body image and confidence and encourage her to adapt her own sense of style. We must focus on the fabulous not the flaws!
I am probably most easily the “tomboy” of the group, I love my trackies and jeans, but I enjoy being feminine also on a night out; a LBD and heels will take you anywhere!! I am a diverse young woman with a unique style; if its funky/has an edge, I will want to try it & I can’t wait to share this with you all!
Stay fabulous xx

Hi! I’m Fiona, the mammy of the group! I’m a married Mam of 4. I’ve always been a big girl and struggled all my life with body image and confidence. Ten years ago, I entered the Face of Simply Be, and was runner up! This gave me the confidence and opportunity to follow my passion and start accepting myself. I’ve always loved fashion and had the chance to appear in Off the Rails and TV3. At 46 and size 22, with a plus size modeling and a background in styling, I am proud to represent women and men of my generation. I am fairly new to blogging but it is just another chapter to my story. My blogging angle will concentrate on how to dress for your body shape, with some fabulous styling tips too!
