New York Fashion Week Highlights 2017

Another year , another fabulous New York Fashion Week! Here are our top highlights from the week:

1. Tom Ford

Designer Tom Ford opened the show with an air of excitement as he made  a return to New York Fashion Week for Spring /Summer 2018 . His impeccable line did not disappoint with sleek , structured tuxedo style pieces being the highlight of the collection.

 

 

 2.  Fenty x Puma

Who knew leisurewear wear could be so sexy!? Leave it to bad girls Riri, aka Rhianna to bring an eclectic , stunning range of athlesiure wear to New York Fashion Week. Whilst the collection itself was sports chic meets neon 90’s chic  inspired, there was a number of classic scuba sports-wear style thrown in for good measure, including over-sized trench coats which would not look out of place on a rainy day in Ireland!

 

 

 

3.  Brock Ready to Wear Collection S/S18
California designers Laura Vassar and Kris Brock met huge appraise for their Brock S/S18 collection, with feminine float pieces. The stunning ready to wear collection plays to the designer strengths and they really envision what their customer wants to wear going forward and design around that aesthetic. The collection consisted  of tiered skirts,  structured coats,  striped dresses and flowy, romantic lace dresses  and these dresses would be ideal for weddings or any special occassions you have cmoing up next Spring!
