Trends for 2017! ….Bell Sleeves

Hello 2017!  Hello to new trends for 2017…. the one trend we are welcoming is ; Bell Sleeves. Voluminous bell sleeves were seen on the runways at A/W16 Fashion Weeks and the trend also rolled over into S/S17 collections. The extra-flowy bell sleeve is going to be a huge trend this year and makes dressing up or down a little more exciting, whilst giving a nod to the much loved 70’s trend.

The bell sleeve top or dress is the perfect choice if you’re looking to make a fun, bold statement to a simple outfit. The key to styling this look, is to take a minimalist approach by teaming a bell-sleeved top with a simple pencil skirt or trousers for a day-time chic look or by teaming a bell-sleeved dress with a cropped leather jacket and heels to add a dramatic effect to the look.

If you wish to embrace this look, I think it’s best to jump into the playful silhouette by showing off the billowing sleeve with noticeable effect. Play around with different cuts and styles and have fun with the different fabrics and textures and remember there are no rules when it comes to style!
